Clay

Connect Clay to your AI assistant using Clay's hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Sign in and authorize through Clay using discovered OAuth 2.1; no API key needs to be pasted into Simtheory.

Work with your Clay data conversationally, including:

- Contact and company search, filtering by attributes such as company, job title, and location
- Data enrichment, pulling work emails, contact details, company signals, and other real-time data points
- Table access, reading and summarising the records held in your Clay tables
- Workflow execution, listing your pre-built workflows and triggering them on demand
- Table updates, writing enriched or corrected values back into your rows

Two things make this connection different from a read-only connector. First, it can make changes: it can trigger workflows and update table rows, so the assistant is instructed to confirm with you before performing any write. Second, enrichment consumes your Clay workspace credits, so the assistant is instructed to warn you and confirm before running large or bulk enrichment jobs, and to prefer a small sample first.

Data access respects the connected account's existing Clay workspace permissions. If a user cannot view or modify something in Clay, the assistant will receive a permission error or an empty result rather than the underlying data. The tools, datasets, and enrichment providers available to each connection are controlled by Clay and may vary according to the connected workspace's plan and entitlements.
